Session 9 - The Elves Arrive
The party regroups at the inn and sleeps for the night, the next day Godrin waits at the city gates for the elven emissary from Everbranch
to arrive. A short time later, a caravan of elven wagons arrives, with
several dozen elven guard dressing in ceremonial armor. The emissary
asks for Godrin
by name and Godrin approaches. The emissary thanks him and his friends
for their assistance in taking back the temple so quickly, and asks
that he meet them in the town square in an hour.
Godrin gathers the party and they are brought before the townsfolk to be recognized for their bravery and heroism in their efforts to reclaim the temple for the elves, and cites their actions as a testament to the peoples of Terragard working together despite their differences to accomplish great deeds of assistance in times of need. They are then emphatically congratulated by the mayor of Springpointe himself, and hailed as heroes!
Qumnfernuffle stages a short fight with a dead rabbit using magic to gain attention, but mainly scares the people nearby and annoys the town guard a bit.
Godrin had a more private conversation with the elven emissary about their findings in the library under the city, and asked if he knew anything of a wizard named Solomir. The emissary did not know the name, but advised that perhaps a historian or arcanist would know more. Godrin asked of Haldruin, and the emissary stated that he went missing after having reported the temple's plight.

Theron visits the Order of the Silver Exiles representative who was in town from his previous engagement and informs him of the possible rat infestation. The rep advises he'd send word for an investigation and prompt action from the Exiles immediately.
